External spaces are just as important as buildings themselves. This project began as an exercise exploring the addition of an out-door entertainment space for an existing house. The project later grew to incorporate a series of additions to the house and eventually grew to include the addition of a "forest box". This is an outbuilding that functions as a home work studio for the owner. The box itself frames a huge picture window focused on the magnificent mountain outlook.
